Each year persons and businesses in Clearfield County show incredible support for our law enforcement officers and agencies. This assistance and aid are truly appreciated by the men and women who protect our communities every day. As a gesture of their gratitude, the District Attorney has created the Clearfield County Civilian of the Year Award to recognize those persons and businesses that truly Back the Blue.
Award Criteria
The nominee must be a citizen of Clearfield County or a business that operates in Clearfield County. Nominations should be made for endeavors that occurred between January 1, 2025, and December 31, 2025. Nominations are accepted from law enforcement officers knowing the nominee's actions. Nominations must include a statement of the specific circumstances involving support for law enforcement.
Nominations will be accepted electronically from law enforcement officers via hand delivery, fax, mail, or email directly to the District Attorney.
Nominations must be received by the District Attorney no later than April 3, 2026.
The Award will be presented during National Police Week (May 10 to 16, 2026).
