Fire Incident Reporting
Instructions for Submitting Incident Reports
Clearfield County Emergency Management will be acting as the central repository for incident data for all departments participating in the PennFIRS Incident Reporting System. Clearfield County would like all departments to submit incident data on a monthly basis. Data should be received at Clearfield County by the 15th of each month for the previous month.
OPTION 1 - E-mail – If you have Internet access and FireHouse Software.
Follow the directions in the FIREHOUSE SOFTWARE USER GUIDE on page 8-2 for exporting transaction files to state. At step 2, select the From Date and To Date for which you wish to submit data. Accept all other default values. When you reach step 8 follow the directions below:
Select the option "Yes, attach the file(s) to and send an e-mail message".
- Click the E-Mail Setup button.
- For Server, enter the address of your Internet service provider’s e-mail server.
- For From, enter your e-mail address.
- For To, enter pennfirs@clearfield911.com
- Click OK
- Continue with step 9 in the User Guide.
OPTION 2 - Disk – If you do not have Internet access:
Follow the directions in the FIREHOUSE SOFTWARE USER GUIDE on page 8-2 for exporting transaction files to state. At step 2, select the From Date and To Date for which you wish to submit data. Accept all other default settings. When you reach step 8 follow the directions below:
- Insert a blank 3 ½" floppy disk in drive A:
- Select the option "Yes, copy the file(s) to the removable disk in drive"
- Make sure A: is selected in the Drive box
- Continue with step 9 in the User Guide.
- When you have completed exporting the data to the disk, mail the disk to Clearfield County at:

The disk may also be dropped off at the Clearfield County Emergency Management reception area Monday through Friday between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m
